That is why we have come up with these multiple types of access features. Now you can have Public, Shared, and Private access to a list or content template.
Through this feature, you can grant access to your preferred group of people in shared access or make it public throughout the organization as you wish.
Based on the sensitivity of data, you can also have private access only to yourself.
